ABOUT THE FOUR SEASONS

Austin’s Finest

The Four Season Residences is one of Austin’s best luxury condominium buildings. In keeping with its elegant brand, you can expect nothing but the best living at this high rise. From the moment you arrive at the front porte cochere, whilst being greeted by the doorman and valet, you can enter to have the concierge offering to assist in any way, you certainly feel like you are king of the world. One of the unique features of this condo hotel building is that the residential condo building is completely separate from the hotel building. The two buildings are connected underground with a service tunnel, allowing you all the conveniences and luxuries from the hotel services whilst maintaining privacy and seclusion from the busy hotel. At the same time, you are not sacrificing any of the conveniences or amenities since you can find them all in your building.

Penthouse Amenities

On the top floor of the building you will find all your amenities. The private amenity floor will have a rooftop pool that offers amazing views of downtown Austin, Lady Bird Lake, the Long Performing Arts Center and beautiful sunsets every evening. Also on this level you will find the world class fitness center, yoga studio, private library and conference room. Also, residents can reserve the Sky Lounge to host their own private events. The Sky Lounge has its own fully equipped chef’s kitchen so that you can have a private chef come up and cater your event.

24 Hour Concierge

Much like The W, you will have all the hotel services available as a homeowner. You can order room service 24 hours a day. You can schedule house cleaning services at your convenience. Valet parking, concierge services, spa services are available if needed. They also claim to assist in many A La Carte services such as; helping find and schedule personal trainers, physicians, personal shoppers, private chef’s, limousine and chauffeur services, dry cleaning and laundry services, babysitting services, and pet care services to name a few.

Off The Beaten Path…By Design!

Since you are slightly east of Congress Ave, you are a little bit out of the action, but that is what most owners at The Four Seasons are looking for. A few blocks west and you are on Congress Ave with all the office buildings, a few blocks north and you have lots of restaurant and bar choices. To the east you will find Austin’s convention center and to the south the Four Seasons essentially sits on the waterfront of Lake Austin. Again, the condo building is separate from the hotel building, so if you like, you can simply walk downstairs and enter the hotel to find yourself at Trio Restaurant for dinner of grab a cocktail at the famous Lobby Lounge.

Iconic Architecture

The building was designed by one of America’s best architects, Michael Graves. It is 32 stories and tops out at 350 feet. There is a total of 148 residential condos, which start on the 6 floor. The parking is 5 stories in total and the parking garage provides private and direct access into the building. The building also has underground climate controlled storage units available for additional purchase. The development of the building was teamed up between Austin based Ardent Residential and Atlanta based Post Properties.

Sconcetastic Living

Inside the homes you will find the finest finish out available. The first impression when you arrive at your door is great; the Four Seasons is one of the only condo buildings in town that has entry sconces, allowing you to set down your sunglasses or phone while you open the door; an unnecessary but elegant touch! In the living rooms you can find exotic hardwoods, designer carpets and recessed lighting. In the kitchen you can expect exotic hardwood cabinets, stainless steel hardware, under mounted stainless steel sinks, designer faucets, Sub Zero refrigerators, Wolf gas ranges, ASKO dishwashers and Wolf microwaves. The bathrooms will have a mixture of marble, designer fixtures and exotic wood cabinets.

Preferential Four Seasons Treatment

We could not find any indication that the building is a “green building” or participated in either the Austin Green Building or the LEED program. Like The W and Austonian, The Four Seasons is not FHA approved and buyers would have to obtain non-warrantable financing. Again, for buyers at this level this is usually of little to no concern.By being an owner at the Fours Seasons you are able to receive preferential status at participating Four Season Hotels and Resorts, a perk that pays dividends for worldly travelers.
