Hi! My name is Jennifer Farnet.
I was born and raised in Mandeville, Louisiana, just north of the wonderful city of New Orleans, where the good times are always rolling! I am blessed with two incredible parents and two younger sisters, who I am proud to call my best friends.
I graduated from LSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and a minor in Business. Immediately following graduation, I moved to Houston, Texas, to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry. I immediately fell in love with Texas. I lived in Houston for nine years but traveled to Austin very often and fell in love with the city. I set a goal to move to Austin once I felt the time was right.
I am very thankful for my previous career in the oil and gas industry, first working as a revenue analyst, and then in ethics and compliance. However, after nine years in the industry, I knew in my heart that it was time for a change. I wanted to be in Austin, and I wanted a career that enabled me to do three things: Help others, do something that I love and be my own boss. The answer was clear; it was time to take a leap of faith, make the move to Austin, and pursue the career in real estate that I had wanted for so long!
I am now in Austin pursuing my dream, and I LOVE this city. It’s absolutely gorgeous—from the downtown views to the scenery of the hill country and everything in between. There is so much to do, and the people are awesome.
I am now a full time realtor and would love to assist you with your real estate needs. Whether you are looking to buy, sell, find a rental, lease a property or find an investment property, I am here to help you! I love meeting new people and playing a part in turning their dreams into reality. Because of my educational background and career experience, I am able to bring strong communication skills and ethics into everything that I do. My clients come first! I promise to stay in constant communication, to keep you informed and to help you every step of the way.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my family and friends, my boyfriend, Kyle, and my dog, Layla. She is a one-year-old Golden Doodle, and she is so sweet and adorable! She loves Austin just as much as I do. I also enjoy paddle boarding, hiking, Pilates, traveling, attempting to cook, and supporting charities like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
